About the Master of Business Administration

(A Two Years Full Time Courses) ASHOKA, Varanasi by Charitable Trust "Surabhi Charitable Trust " with a vision to establish a technical Institute that provides not only syllabus based classroom education but also an opportunity to define technical ideas and convert them into operational and accomplished realities. The Institute is affiliated to the "APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow" and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (POs) for MANAGEMENT (PG Course)

PO1: Social Responsibility, Entrepreneurial Ability and Ethics - Ability to exhibit responsiveness to contextual social issues, understanding business ethics, resolving ethical dilemmas, exploring the opportunities for social entrepreneurship, designing business solutions and demonstrating ethical standards in organizational decision-making by distinguishing ethical and unethical behaviour.

PO2: Critical Thinking, Business Analysis, Problem Solving & Innovation – Ability to develop skills on analyzing business data, application of relevant analysis, problem identification and providing innovative solution frameworks to real-world complex business and social problems in areas such as HR, marketing, business, finance, IT and operations by systematically applying modern quantitative and qualitative problem-solving tools and techniques.

PO3: Global exposure and Cross-cultural understanding - Ability to demonstrate global outlook with the ability to identify aspects of the global business and cross-cultural understanding.

PO4: Domain Knowledge & Business Environment Awareness - Ability to articulate, illustrate, analyze, synthesize and apply the knowledge of management principles and allied domains to get knowledge about the functioning of local and global business environment and society to understand the real-world complex business issues.

PO5: Effective Communication - Ability to use various forms of business communication supported by effective use of appropriate technology (business presentations, digital communications, social network platforms etc.)

PO6: Leadership and Teamwork - Ability to demonstrate leadership skills, leading teams, collaborating with teams across organizational boundaries and maximizing the usage of diverse skills of team members in an organizational context and across organizational boundaries.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) for MBA

PSO1: The ability to understand, identify, and analyze the key issues facing a business or business sub-divisions and to apply the knowledge of management strategies to explore and solve business problems.

PSO2: The ability to adapt to rapid changes in the dynamic business environment and technology through life-long learning and with an understanding of economy and societal issues relevant to business and management.
